Final Thoughts

It is sad to say our trip is nearly over with 2 more days left. We have had an amazing and memorable time together, with others and with our beautiful country. Williamsburg, VA is a perfect place for us to be as we contemplate our last 4 weeks on the road. It has all been quite overwhelming really. To think we will have traveled over 7,000 miles total is rather mind-boggling in and of itself! We will have been in 20 states. Let's 'translate' what that means....we have traveled app. 140 hrs. which would put us in the car riding for app. 18 - 8 hr. days! Over half our trip has been spent in the car! If you asked me if I'd do it again soon....I'd say a firm 'YES!' It is an opportunity not to be missed.

As we leave Williamsburg on Sat., we will stop at Mt. Vernon (George Washington's home) outside of Wash. D.C. It will be nice for us to return to our church, family and friends. We have missed you all. Thank you for 'tuning' into our blog and bearing with me. I've appreciated your postitive feedback. Back to the usual email format now...ha. When I return home, I hope to have an email waiting from each of you! (Now wouldn't that be a grand homecoming???)
